Plunged in Cilentana Coast, in a historic building overlooking the sea, this project comes to light.
PRODUCT: BOTTEGA – SPINA 45°, TEAK WATER VARNISHED
ARCHITECT: SARAH ADINOLFI / YEAR: 2017
Plunged in the heart of Cilento coast, in a historic building overlooking the sea, this challenging project takes its life.
It is the result of a compromise between the historic memory of the house and the wish to renew thanks to the restoration.
Everywhere it is possible to read the fusion of past and present, starting from the ancient vault leading to the living area, completely covered with mirrors. An original way to widen the spaces perception, create charming reflexes and divide the living from the dining room.
The rooms layout is modern and characterized by smooth and not fragmented spaces. The little details, such as the doors and old handles, the wall chalks and the old furniture take back in time.
All the walls and custom designed furniture are white and create the scenario suitable to value the furnishings and accessories.
The parquet makes warm the rooms. It mixes modern and ancient in its contemporary essence but laid in a classic way, with a 45° herringbone.
The teak of the Bottega DELBASSO collection, thanks to the water paint, stores its natural color of wood giving an extreme resistance which, combined with the value of this privileged essence, makes it suitable also to wet rooms.
Embellished by the parquet and valuable materials, the bathroom is a real spa where it is possible to relax.
The same parquet covers and enhance the staircase leading the lower rooms overlooking the terrace, the garden and the wonderful sea.
